Jerome A Sloan

1mpact Art is a fine art and mural business featuring the art of Jerome A Sloan. He is an African American artist from Portland, Oregon that started out as a spray painter in the 1980s. He has been an artist for more than 20 years. The art always has a message of staying positive even in the most trying of circumstances.

Jerome delivers this message of staying positive well because that what he has had to do. Art saved his life.  He was sentenced to life without the possibility of parole in 1994 at the age of 19 yrs old for something he did not do. He was granted a commutation by the governor (In 2022) because of the murals he created while in prison and the social work that Jerome was involved in. Since then, He has continued to spread the message of positivity through his art and involvement in social justice.
